visually impaired members of Dorset Blind Association to work with Alex Dakers
August 20, 2014
International political artist Alexander Dakers will be creating a piece of sensory artwork with visually impaired members of Dorset Blind Association, live from Flirt Cafe in Bournemouth. The resulting artwork will be displayed at Alexander's free exhibition at the BIC between 6th and 12th October alongside his installation of sensory paintings displayed inside a dark tent, to challenge the way we ‘see’ art and provoke reactions and thoughts about living with sight-loss. The exhibition will stand alongside his political works for Amnesty International.
If you would like to come and participate in the painting, watch it's creation, get your face painted or come to meet us and hear more about Dorset Blind Association you can come along on the day.
